environCom installs second CRT processing plant
Lincolnshire-based recycler Environcom,
will install a network of recycling facilities for electronic
equipment across the U.K. and Ireland.
The company intends to install
more than 3 million metric tons of recycling capacity during 2006
at 12 potential sites.
Capacity for processing old TV’s
& computer monitors has just been increased yet again with
the addition of environCom’s latest CRT splitting machine.
The latest technology to tackle the TV mountain has been brought
in from Sweden and is manufactured by MRT Systems. It is representative
of a precision process and has been especially adapted for environCom
in order to address the quality of end markets for CRT glass.
