DuPont signs 10-year contract for landfill gas
supply
Corpus Christie, TX— CSMG
Technologies, Inc. has signed a 10-year agreement with DuPont’s
Mobile, Alabama plant for purchase of landfill gas from CSMG’s
Chastang, Alabama CO2 landfill gas project. Terms of the agreement
were not disclosed.
CSMG Technologies owns the CO2
separator complex located at the landfill that was developed to
purify raw landfill gas to an acceptable quality.
The patented CO2 separation technology
processes low-quality raw landfill gas that is approximately 50%
carbon dioxide and 50% methane into a usable commercial gas. The
technology’s efficiency is derived from a technique financed
by the company and developed by the Ukrainian Scientific Institute.
The technology absorbs carbon dioxide and other impurities without
the use of filters or membranes that become clogged over time.
