Sub-Surface Waste Management chosen to manage
site remediation
Carlsbad, CA— Sub-Surface
Waste Management of Delaware, Inc. (SSWM) announced that its Mexico
subsidiary company Environmental Tec International, S.A. de C.V.
(ETI), through the offices of ETI director Dr. Richard Lorden,
was received January 31, 2006 by Governor Fidel Herrera of the
State of Veracruz, Mexico and Eduardo Cordoba, M.D. the Environmental
General Coordinator for the State, and invited to open an office
in Veracruz to support the State’s funded environmental
compliance plan.
Bruce Beattie, CEO of SSWM stated,
“Governor Herrera and Dr. Cordoba outlined immediate projects
for direct assignment in environmental site assessment, remediation
and emergency response services to address future and historic
toxic spills and releases in the State through ETI teaming arrangement
with the Zaragoza Graduate School of Studies of the National Autonomous
University of Mexico (UNAM). The State of Veracruz has recently
reported more than 200 toxic leaks and spills from the Pemex pipeline
system which has impacted over 2,000 hectares of surface soil
with petroleum hydrocarbon products.” |
