Bruce Savage joins ISRI in a new position
The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. announced
that Bruce Savage has joined the organization as vice president, communications.
The newly-created position of ISRI vice president,
communications is the result of a staff realignment of the numerous duties
of Chuck Carr, ISRI’s current vice president of member services, meetings,
marketing and communications.
Under this realignment, Carr will focus on ISRI’s member
services and education and training programs as well as directing the
annual ISRI Convention and Exposition.
Savage most recently served as vice president, Public
Affairs for the Manufactured Housing Institute in Arlington, Virginia
where he oversaw all communications, media relations, market research
and public affairs activities on behalf of the national trade association.
He also worked extensively in developing a national image enhancement
proposal for the manufactured and modular housing industry.
