Universal Forest Products donates $100,000 to Habitat for Humanity

Grand Rapids, MI— Universal Forest Products, a supplier of wood and wood-alternative products, announced that it would donate cash, goods and services with a value of up to more than $100,000 to Habitat for Humanity International. Universal announced the gift to commemorate the company’s anniversary — “50 years of building success.”

Universal will present $1,000 to Habitat for Humanity affiliates in each of the 86 communities in which the company has operations. In addition, many of Universal’s local plants will supplement the corporate donation with additional gifts of products and labor.
