 “Recycling in the Garden”
City of Philadelphia Streets Commissioner Clarena I.W. Tolson hosted “Recycling in the Garden,” an informative, hands-on demonstration at the 2007 Philadelphia Flower Show, the world’s largest indoor flower exhibit.
Tolson offered more than 150 avid gardeners and flower enthusiasts creative tips and suggestions for composting, reusing, and recycling items in gardening and floral projects.
The suggestions included creating an attractive outdoor planter using a discarded automobile tire. |
