Shaklee Corporation Receives the 2004 IntegriTREE Award from New Leaf Paper

San Francisco and Pleasonton, CA— New Leaf Paper has named Shaklee Corporation as the winner of the 2004 IntegriTREE Award, an honor presented at the 2004 Outstanding Sustainable Style Achievement Awards (OSSA) held in Los Angeles, California.

Shaklee is among a select group of organizations receiving an award at the first annual OSSA Awards, an event hosted by the Sustainable Style Foundation (SSF). As part of its TREEty campaign, New Leaf Paper is presenting Shaklee with the 2004 IntegriTREE Award, an honor that recognizes Shaklee’s commitment to high-volume use of post-consumer content process chlorine free paper. Using “New Leaf Pax FSC,” a recently introduced environmental paper source, for the mass production of its product catalog, Shaklee has saved a significant amount of precious resources such as water, trees and energy and has dramatically reduced its production of solid waste and greenhouse gases.

New Leaf Paper, in partnership with The Breast Cancer Fund, recently launched TREEty, an important new venture among women’s fashion, health and lifestyle communities. When TREEty members purchase New Leaf paper, New Leaf donates between 0.30% and 1% of the revenue from the purchase to The Breast Cancer Fund. Shaklee is a founding member of the TREEty campaign.
