Canglobe acquires Beiseker medical waste treatment
facility in Canada
Edmonton, Alberta— Canglobe
International Inc.’s, president, Donald Sampson, announced
that Canglobe has entered into an agreement to acquire the medical
waste treatment facility located in Beiseker, Alberta for CAD
$4,000,000.
The facility, built in 1993,
currently treats medical waste collected throughout Western Canada
using the plants incineration technology. Sampson has played a
major role in building ten similar businesses in Japan, South
America, South Africa, Australia, and North America.
The company has also acquired
alternative treatment equipment valued at CAD$1,250,000 which
will allow the Beiseker Facility to increase plant capacity three
fold within a three month period.
The facility will then operate
under reduced per unit costs, and make the facility much more
environmentally friendly. The Beiseker Treatment Facility will
have a potential to generate approximately CAD$15 million in gross
revenues per year. |
