ISRI elects officers at 2006 annual convention

Frank Cozzi, president, Cozzi Enterprises, Burr Ridge, Illinois was elected to a two-year term as national chair of ISRI on April 6 during ISRI’s Annual Convention and Exposition in Las Vegas. Cozzi had served as ISRI chair-elect since 2004.

Other national officers elected to two-year terms were chair-elect – George Adams, president, Adams Steel, Anaheim, California; vice chair – John Sacco, president, Sierra Recycling & Demolition, Bakersfield, California; Secretary Treasurer – Jerry Simms, vice president, Atlas Metal and Iron Corp., Denver, Colorado.

The 2006 convention was the largest and most successful in ISRI’s history, with a final registration of over 4,200, breaking the previous attendance record by nearly 25 percent. The 167,000-square-foot exposition featured more than 190 exhibitors.
