Upstate Shredding gives to firefighters

A structural firefighting suit costs nearly $1,800 each and is critical to the safety of a firefighter working near or entering a burning building. Adam Weitsman, president of Upstate Shredding LLC, donated over $10,000 to the Village of Owego Fire Department, which is where Upstate Shredding is located in New York.

The funds were used to purchase 6 Globe G-Xtreme firefighting suits and will aid in increasing safety.
