Army Corps awards contract
The Sacramento District of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has awarded a nationwide Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) contract to MWH, an environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting firm.
Under the terms of the contract, which has a combined ceiling of $200 million between seven awardees, MWH will provide a range of environmental services for Hazardous Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) and Ordnance and Explosive (OE) projects. Those services include investigations, studies, engineering support, remedial actions and operation and maintenance of treatment facilities under firm-fixed price, cost-reimbursable and fixed-pice remediation with insurance delivery orders.
The contract period is two years, with an option of three additional years. The geographic area covered by the contract includes all United States and territories, allowing nearly all of the 41 USACE districts and most Army bases access to the firm’s environmental services. The MWH team includes primary partners Hydro-GeoLogic, Inc., USA Environmental, Inc., and Toltest, Inc., plus specialty subcontractors.
