Recyclers donate cars, support SADD
Fairfax, VA— For 17 consecutive years, brothers
Don and Gary Beagell, New York businessmen, have been strong supporters
of the Windsor and Chenango Valley High School chapters of SADD
(Students Against Destructive Driving). Each year they have donated
a car for the post prom party which is an alternative for students
to enjoy alcohol-free and substance-free post prom activities. Graduating
students who stay for the duration of the party have the chance
to win the cars.
This year Don’ Automotive Mall awarded a
1996 Pontiac Sunbird to Brianna Jones, who needed a car to commute
to classes at the local college, while Alicia DeRose won a 1997
Hyundai Tiburon from Gary’s U-Pull-It.
Don Beagell is the president of Don’s Automotive
Mall, Inc., an automotive parts and recycling facility in Binghamton,
New York. Gary Beagell is the president of Gary’s U-Pull-It,
Inc., an auto parts and recycling center, also of Binghamton.
