Membership in ISRI largest since 1998
Strong membership renewal and new member recruitment has helped ISRI beat its membership targets for 2007 and mark the fifth straight year of membership growth. With 1,451 member companies, ISRI is at its largest since 1998.
“As ISRI begins its 20th anniversary year, ISRI’s professional staff continues to provide expertise and services in a variety of areas that offers members real value for their investment in ISRI,” said ISRI chair Frank Cozzi.
The most commonly cited membership benefits include ISRI’s comprehensive safety programs; global expertise in scrap-related trade issues; the Recycling Industry Operating Standard (RIOS), ISRI’s industry-specific QEH&S management system; federal and state regulatory compliance programs; award-winning member publications; industry-wide networking opportunities; and a government relations program that is second to none.
To continue the membership momentum, ISRI announced a half-price new member recruitment special. For a limited time, new members may enjoy full-membership benefits from July 1 through December 31, 2007 for half the cost of a regular membership. The promotional offer ends August 31.
