Nominations for Texas awards open
Nominations are being accepted for the 2007 Texas
Environmental Excellence Awards, the state’s highest environmental
achievement.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality
offers awards annually to pay tribute to projects across the state
that significantly reduce waste, prevent pollution, and conserve
natural resources.
For award winners, the public recognition and
marketing benefits of winning the award can be significant.
Applicants may submit nominations in one of 10
categories: Agriculture, Civic/Nonprofit, Education, Government,
Individual, Innovative Technology, Large Business - Nontechnical,
Large Business - Technical, Small Business, and Youth.
The deadline to submit applications is November
