International waste bill approved
Solid Waste Disposal Act introduced in May
of 2005
The United States House of Representatives approved
Bill HR2491 introduced in 2005.
This bill was introduced to amend the Solid Waste
Disposal Act to allow States to restrict importation of foreign
municipal solid waste.
The bill will now go on to the Senate for vote. |
