Startech plans site in Panama
Startech Environmental Corporation and Sicmar International
Panama SA signed a contract with the city of Las Tablas securing
the land and the waste for a 200 ton-per-day Sicmar Plasma Converter
Facility. The resource recovery center in Panama will process municipal
solid waste.
Sicmar International is a Startech associate and
the company’s exclusive representative in the Republic of
Panama.
Victor Sziky, president of Sicmar International,
said, “The Las Tablas facility will be the technical and financial
model for 5 to 10 replicated municipal facilities in Panama addressing
the countries national waste management crisis, and its vigorous
sustainable development initiatives.” |
