OmniSource purchases three Fort Wayne
buildings; plans move
OmniSource Corp. purchased three buildings located
at 7500 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Fort Wayne that were part of the former
Waterfield Mortgage Co.
The Fort Wayne-based scrap metal recycler expects
to move into two of the buildings in the first quarter of next year.
An estimated 240 employees are expected to make the move.
The combined office space is 116,000 square feet.
OmniSource will occupy 87,000 square feet in one building and also
occupy the second building.
The company expects to lease the third building,
which is 29,000 square feet. OmniSource employs more than 2,000,
with about 750 in Fort Wayne. |
