TIA announces new board of directors
The Tire Industry Association (TIA) announced the winners
of the recent board of directors elections. There were
11 seats open, including 10 seats with 3-year terms and
one seat with a 1-year term. Elected to serve three-year
terms were:

Airy, North Carolina.

Eddie Burleson, Central Marketing, Inc., Colonial
Heights, Virginia.

Dick Gust, Liberty/Lakin National Tire Recycling,
Chicago, Illinois.

Keith Jarman, AME International, Brooksville, Florida.

Jim Melvin, Tire Pros of R.I., Inc., North Kingstown,
Rhode Island.

Glen Nicholson, TBC Retail, Juno Beach, Florida.

Jim Pangle, Fountain Tire, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Freda Pratt-Boyer, Purcell Tire & Rubber Co.,
Potosi, Missouri.

Mike Wolfe, Southeastern Wholesale Tire, Raleigh,
North Carolina.
Additionally, Roy Bromfield of Q Tires, Inc., of Greenville,
South Carolina was placed into the one-year vacancy that
was created by the election of Larry Brandt of MSB Tires,
LLC, of Lakeville, Minnesota to the position of secretary.
The new board will take office on November 2, 2009.
