November 2004 Southern Recycling Secondary Fibers Expands OperationsNashville, TN— Southern Recycling Secondary Fibers, Inc. (SRSF) has opened a facility in West Nashville on more than 25 acres of land. SRSF plans to concentrate its business initially on recycling paper and cardboard products, beginning ferrous and non-ferrous metals operations after June 2005. The new facility in West Nashville represents an investment in real estate and plant in excess of $4 million. “We have one of the best locations in this region for recycling,” said Steve Nedelman, president. “We are in an industrially zoned area, on the river, with rail service and very close to both Briley Parkway and Interstate 40. We believe our location, combined with our many years of experience in recycling in this market as well as our commitment to customer service, competitive pricing and dependability will make us successful in this new venture. In addition to the immediate Nashville area, we also plan to market our services throughout middle Tennessee.” The Nashville operation plans to establish a retail and industrial customer base along with building a niche in the emerging document disposal and destruction market. The company will also offer truck and roll-off service, trailers to spot, toll processing-baling and direct mill shipment. |
