North East Waste Services receives permit enhancement

Marlborough, MA— North East Waste Services, Inc. announced that it has received the required regulatory approvals to increase the amount of waste it can accept on a daily basis at its South Hadley, Massachusetts landfill. The South Hadley landfill is operated by North East Waste Services in a public/private partnership with the Town of South Hadley, Massachusetts, which owns the landfill.

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has issued a permit modification allowing the Company to increase the average daily volume of waste it can accept at its South Hadley landfill from 395 tons per day to 500 tons per day and increasing the maximum daily volume from 500 tons per day to 540 tons per day.
