Manheim adds 10th auction facility

Atlanta, GA— Manheim’s Clanton’s Auto Auction in Darlington, South Carolina, has joined the Total Resource Auctions network of wholesale salvage auctions.

The auction is conducting its Total Resource Auctions salvage sales every other Thursday in addition to its weekly dealer consignment and factory sales. Buyers are able to participate in the lanes or online via Simulcast.

Cotton Edwards was named general manager at Clanton’s Auto Auction in August after serving as regional vice president of operations/Southeast for Manheim’s auto body repair business. Before that, Edwards was general manager at Statesville Auto Auction in Statesville, North Carolina, the most recent Manheim facility added to the lineup.

With the addition of Clanton’s Auto Auction, Manheim now has 10 facilities conducting Total Resource Auctions sales. As many as three more locations are to be added by the end of the year.
