Online prepaid lamp recycling program made available

Lombard, IL— Onyx Waste Services, a division of Onyx North America launched an online purchase option for its lamp recycling program, in partnership with sister company Onyx Environmental Services. The new service option, which is geared towards existing commercial and industrial customers, will offer its OnyxPak Program through the Onyx Waste Services website at www.onyxws.com.

“We feel that it’s important to be able to offer our customers a full line of solid waste and environmental services,” said Mark Dennis, vice president of sales for Onyx Waste Services.

The new online services will be promoted on customer’s November and December invoices and will direct customers to the OnyxPak website to learn more about the pre-paid recycling of fluorescent lamps, ballasts, batteries and more. OnyxPak enables customers to easily recycle small quantities and to comply with today’s changing regulations. The prepaid packaging allows clients to conveniently manage lighting and electronic waste, through a single price point that includes packaging, freight, insurance, liability protection and certificates of recycling.
