Intrepid begins biogas expansion
Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. has begun
tank installation for five-fold expansion of their Whitesides biogas
production facility. The first of eight new-generation digester
tanks has arrived on site. Intrepid will install 15 tanks at the
new biogas plant near Wendell, Idaho.
All of these tanks have been redesigned and improved
based upon operational experience gained over the past nearly two
years operating the prototype Whitesides facility.
Once all installation work has been completed
and both plants brought back into production they will produce in
the neighborhood of 250,000,000 cubic feet of clean biogas annually. |
