UPS encourages paperless billing

UPS is partnering with the National Arbor Day Foundation and will donate $1 to the organization for every UPS customer who opts for its paperless PDF invoice.

When UPS surveyed its customers to find out what would make them change to an environmentally friendly electronic billing option, 40 percent of the small- to medium-sized business customers polled cited reducing paper and helping the environment as primary motivators. The money will be used to plant trees for community improvement and reforestation, especially in areas affected by recent wildfires.

To convert to paperless billing, customers must visit www.ups.com/billing which will provide them with the benefits of quick invoice delivery, easy viewing and electronic filing, and convenient delivery to as many as five email addresses enable faster routing and approval.
