Hop to It and Recycle

Pictured is "Curbie the Recycling Hopper." The City of Toledo, Ohio, its Art Commission of Greater Toledo, and its Citifest organization held "It's Reigning Frogs" public art display this summer and fall in the city's downtown.

Companies, individuals and organizations sponsored frogs to be painted and decorated in different fashions. The City of Toledo Division of Solid Waste sponsored this frog designed by Toledo artists Sandra Gulch and Marvie McGiffin. The solid waste division added the description "The Glass City Frog is asking you to hop to it and recycle."

Over 100 frogs were completed and auctioned off for local charity.
