Online Compliance Assistance Aids Auto Recyclers and Construction Companies
Ann Arbor, MI— The National Center for Manufacturing
Sciences (NCMS) announces the launch of two new Compliance Assistance
Centers for small and medium-size businesses in the auto recycling and
construction sectors. The new centers were built by NCMS to increase understanding
of and compliance with environmental regulations. NCMS coordinated the
development of these sites with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),
the Automotive Recycling Association, Associated General Contractors of
America, National Association of Home Builders, American Road and Transportation
Builders Association, the Golf Course Builders Association of America,
and the Automotive Recyclers Association.
"Keeping up with the latest environmental regulatory
changes is a major task for industry," says Paul Chalmer. "The
NCMS Compliance Assistance Centers provide information in plain language
that covers both federal regulations as well as the rules in all fifty
states. These latest Centers have been very enthusiastically received
by our industry partners."
